Welcome to Smålandstorpet – a cozy and genuine countryside hotel in the heart of Småland, surrounded by forest and grazing goats. Just 45 km south of Jönköping, 15 minutes from the E4, you will find a quiet oasis for relaxation (adults from 15 years old only).

Here you can slow down and enjoy the tranquility, with forest walks, a wood-fired sauna by the lake and grazing goats in the corner.

Smålandstorpet has been run by us, Maria and Johan Haggård, since 2016 and gives you a personal experience where rural tranquility and hospitality create memories for a lifetime.

Our country hotel has four unique houses – Gamla Torpet , Gamla Garaget , Ladugården and Hemligheten – all carefully furnished with recycled materials and personal details. Here you will have a comfortable and memorable stay, with beds from Hilding and lovely duvets and pillows from Värnamo of Sweden. For work or relaxation, there is fast WiFi and electric car charging. Breakfast is delivered to your house between 06:00 and 09:00, and we are happy to arrange an evening snacks or dinner against pre-order (at least 2 days). What can you do when you are a guest at Smålandstorpet? With us, relaxation is in focus - enjoy a quiet forest walk, take a dip in the lake, or rent our cozy sauna or boat. Explore nature by picking berries and mushrooms or just wander around the forest. There are also nice gravel roads for bike rides, feel free to bring your bike!
