Since 2016, we – Maria and Johan Haggård – have created a place where silence can take place and where nature frames every moment. Smålandstorpet is a small country hotel for adults, nestled in forests and pastures, where goats graze outside the window and the morning coffee tastes extra good.
Since the beginning, we at Smålandstorpet have focused on adults, couples, friends and solo travelers.

As a guest at our country hotel, you can enjoy a relaxing evening in our wood-fired sauna, beautifully located next to our small sandy beach and jetty, about one kilometer from the hotel. You can easily get there on foot or by car. When darkness falls, the experience becomes extra atmospheric with the cozy lighting around.
The sauna is warm and ready when you arrive and we make sure that towels, bathrobes, slippers and firewood are on hand for a carefree evening. During the winter we can also arrange a wake for those who want to take a refreshing dip.
Our country hotel has three unique houses - all carefully decorated with recycled materials and personal details. Here you will have a comfortable and memorable stay, with quality beds from Swedish Hilding and duvets from Värnamo of Sweden.

What can you do when you are a guest at Smålandstorpet? With us, relaxation is in focus - enjoy a quiet forest walk, take a dip in the lake, or rent our cozy sauna or boat. Explore nature by picking berries and mushrooms or just wander around the forest. There are also nice gravel roads for cycling, so feel free to bring your bike!
