Sometimes we need a change of scenery to find new energy and job satisfaction. At Smålandstorpet you can combine efficient working days with peaceful breaks, in an environment where silence and nature go hand in hand. Our workation package is created for those who want all the practicalities in place, but also time for recovery.

You'll be living in Ladugården, a charming 80 square meter house with six meter high ceilings, exposed timber walls and plenty of light. There's a kitchen, a living room and Wi-Fi via fiber - everything you need to work comfortably and without disruption. It's a home rather than an office, but with an atmosphere that makes it easy to find focus. There's a handy desk with office chair and task lighting. 

The working day starts with breakfast delivered to your door - homemade bread, yogurt, muesli, eggs, juice and coffee or tea. During the day, there is plenty of space to work in silence, take a break on the dock or stretch your legs in the forest. Nature around the corner becomes an extension of the workplace and provides new energy between meetings and tasks.

When the working day is over, something completely different awaits. Our workation package includes a sauna by the lake. The sauna is wood-fired and is beautifully located by a quiet forest lake with its own jetty and small sandy beach. Here you can unwind, take a dip and enjoy the evening light. When darkness falls, atmospheric lighting is lit around the sauna and the edge of the forest - an experience that enhances the feeling of relaxation. Towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided, so you can come just as you are.

Our package includes a lunch bag with hanging tenderloin steak or entrecote from Hagshultskossorna and seasonal root vegetables - high quality ingredients that you prepare yourself in our fully equipped kitchen. The lunch box also includes a dessert, what could be more Småland than Vrigstad cheesecake? In addition, an evening sandwich on homemade bread with salami, brie and vegetables is included (the day of arrival) as well as two thin bread rolls filled with smoked salmon, horseradish scrambled eggs and salad, onions and apples that you can take out in our backpack for lunch if you want.

Workation at Smålandstorpet is more than just work in a new environment. It's a chance to strike a balance between performance and recovery, between stillness and inspiration. Here, in the middle of Småland and surrounded by forest, a place awaits where you can think clearly, work focused and still come home with the feeling that you have actually been a little free.
