Småland Film Village is more than a museum - it's an experience. Here you can wander through classic environments from Emil i Lönneberga, Ronja Rövardotter, Saltkråkan, Pippi Longstocking and many more of Astrid Lindgren's filmed stories. You will see original props and costumes, watch movie clips, sing along to the soundtrack and even try your hand at make your own movie.

I Restaurant Skogen serves genuine Småland home cooking with meatballs, lingonberries and pickles - but also vegetarian options with the same care. All food is cooked from scratch and is adapted to different dietary needs.

After dinner you can enoy an icecream at the cafe Blåbärsskogen, where over 20 different ice cream flavors awaits you. A perfect end to a day filled with movies and stories.

Mariannelund, where Filmbyn is located, is the heart of the film landscape of Småland. Several of Astrid Lindgren's films were shot here, and the area has over a dozen filming locations - such as Katthult and Bullerbyn - just a short drive away.
